YACHT REPAIR & REFIT · TUSCANY

Every intervention.
One coordinated project.

One contact. Complete marine repair & refit management.

Technical maintenance, repairs and refits for sailing and motor yachts. We work on yachts and registered pleasure vessels; small craft classified as “natanti” under Italian law are outside our scope.

01 / MECHANICAL SYSTEMS & PROPULSION

An engine will not start or shuts down?

Mechanical systems & propulsion

We begin with diagnosis of starting, fuel and propulsion systems to identify the cause of the fault. We coordinate checks, parts and the required repairs.

Scope
Marine engines; injection systems, pumps and injectors; starter motors and alternators; transmissions; servicing and maintenance.

02 / ONBOARD SYSTEMS

Water in the engine room or unreliable onboard systems?

Onboard systems

A fault can affect several systems. We assess conditions onboard and coordinate specialists to address the cause and affected components.

Scope
Electrical systems, wiring, batteries and panels; water systems, pumps, tanks and drains; steering and onboard services.

03 / HULL, STRUCTURE & FINISHES

Structural damage, worn teak or finishes to restore?

Hull, structure & finishes

We connect the technical requirement with the final result on the yacht. Structural work, carpentry and finishes are coordinated within one plan.

Scope
Below- and above-waterline work; fibreglass and structural repairs; teak, wood, decks and restoration.

04 / ELECTRONICS & DIGITAL RETROFIT

Damaged displays or discontinued instruments?

Electronics & digital retrofit

We first assess what can be recovered. Where an upgrade is needed, we plan it around existing systems and onboard requirements.

Scope
Repair and upgrade of displays, plotters and instruments; electronics and onboard monitoring; equipment recovery where possible.

05 / PARTS & TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

A hard-to-find part is holding up the work?

Parts & technical assistance

Sourcing the component is part of the intervention. We coordinate procurement and repairs within a consistent technical plan.

Scope
Sourcing and supply of original, equivalent and reconditioned parts for engines and onboard systems.

06 / TRANSFERS, TOWING & HANDLING

The yacht needs to reach a shipyard?

Transfers, towing & handling

We organise the required expertise and handling according to the yacht’s location, condition and planned work.

Scope
Sea transfers, recovery, towing and handling to ports and shipyards.

07 / TECHNICAL CLAIM COORDINATION

A failure involves an insurer, surveyor and several specialists?

Technical claim coordination

RRR acts as the project contact, coordinating the insurer and surveyor, technical documentation and the disciplines involved.

Scope
Diagnosis and documentation; coordination of mechanical, systems, structural and carpentry work, the shipyard and lifting. Floating Bear illustrates this approach.

08 / ENGINE REMOVAL & COORDINATED RESTORATION

The engine needs to come out, but there is no suitable opening?

Engine removal & coordinated restoration

We study clearances and the extraction route with the specialists involved. Necessary access and eventual restoration are considered from the outset.

Scope
Access planning; system disconnection; preparation, lifting and removal; coordination of checks ashore and structural and cosmetic restoration.

A REAL PROJECT

Floating Bear

ONGOING REFIT / EMERGENCY RECOVERY

Water in the engine room. A seized engine with no extraction route. RRR coordinates diagnosis, insurance, lifting and restoration through one point of contact.

WORK IN PROGRESS

QUESTIONS FROM OWNERS & CAPTAINS

From the problem
to the plan.

Who coordinates the work when several specialists are needed?

RRR acts as the single project contact: it assesses the problem, assembles the required team and coordinates specialists, suppliers and work through to final checks.

Can you coordinate a repair involving an insurance company?

Yes. The Floating Bear project includes technical coordination, damage documentation and communications with the insurer and appointed surveyor.

Do you always replace damaged components?

We establish the extent of the damage and assess recovery, reconditioning or replacement. Technical decisions follow diagnosis and component inspection.

What should I provide when contacting RRR?

Tell us the yacht’s type and location, the symptoms observed and the urgency. Available photographs or videos can help with the initial assessment.
